The following are questions that you may have related to the Air Show.

General Questions

No, outside food and drinks are not permitted.

No ice chests or coolers will be allowed unless it is a soft cooler containing medicinal items or infant formula.

Permitted items:

  • PCS/cellular phones, pagers, and FRS transceivers
  • Small purses, fanny packs, baby bags, and other small items or any transparent bag
  • Cameras, camcorders, and small camera bags
  • Folding chairs, lawn chairs, and blankets
  • Small umbrellas
  • Wheelchairs and small strollers, small children’s wagons

We recommend wearing comfortable footgear as the flight line is paved and you may walk long distances. Hats, sunglasses, and plenty of sunscreen are also highly recommended. Be prepared to dress for the weather as the MCBH Kaneohe Bay Air Show will go on rain or shine.

We encourage visitors to discard trash and recycling in the proper receptacles placed throughout the spectator area to keep the Air Station clean and safe for the aerial demonstrations.

Consider wearing hearing protection – it is highly encouraged for all MCBH Kaneohe Bay Air Show spectators, especially young children.

There will be designated smoking areas located on the flight line; however, smoking is prohibited in all other areas of the flight line.

If you leave bags or packages unattended – they will be removed from the premises.  You may go to the Lost and Found to retrieve your items.

Please go to the command post or find a law enforcement officer on site. If possible, please have a picture of your child with current clothing to help personnel identify your child on the event day.

Transportation & Parking

As you enter the main entrance at MCBH, personnel will direct you where to go.

Shuttles are available from all parking areas to the Air Show entrance.

RV/Travel Trailers are not allowed on base. Parking is limited, and we want to make sure we can get everyone that wants to come to the air show, a way to get to the air show.

Yes, handicapped parking is available to those with a disabled person’s license plate or placard. Keep your placard visible so personnel can easily see and give directions. Handicapped parking is first come, first served.

No. Only pre-approved static display and performer aircraft are allowed to fly into MCBH Hawaii.
