Blue Angels

The mission of the Blue Angels is to showcase the teamwork and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps through flight demonstrations and community outreach while inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country.

Corrie Mays, the events coordinator for the U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, and a Marstons Mills, Mass., native, autographs handouts for attendees of the 2015 Kaneohe Bay Air Show and Open House aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Oct. 17, 2015. The theme of this year’s air show is “Joining Forces with the Community,” and each branch of service was able to showcase their equipment and capabilities. Guests also had the opportunity to enjoy a number of activities and demonstrations, from military and civilian aircraft displays, to carnival rides, merchandise booths and Taste of Oahu food booths.
